Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: The Classic Regency Romance-now with Ultraviolent Zombie Mayhem! (Quirk Classics)

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies - Seth Grahame-Smith As a whole, this book was incredibly enjoyable and it definitely provided a few laughs, as well as some cringes of horror. I love Pride and Prejudice, and I really think it’s a fantastic classic. Austen had a true masterpiece with it, and ever since I heard this existed, I wanted to read it. We finally decided to for my school’s book club, we were all super excited. You’d be surprised, but I wasn’t expecting it to be nearly as funny as it was. I found myself actually laughing out loud in class and trying to stifle it before my teachers found out I was reading instead of paying attention. However, you could obviously tell it was a parody, and I would have much preferred it if this book could stand on its own, instead of being a parody and…nothing else.Read more?
