City of Fallen Angels (Mortal Instruments)

City of Fallen Angels - Cassandra Clare Despite the high rating, this book was disappointing on many levels. It was incredibly obvious Clare never planned on adding books to her original trilogy, and it show heavily in her newer work. Suddenly the series is like every other young adult series, with conflicting characters, someone doing mysterious things, relationship angst, and all the stuff we’re already used to and have seen done a thousand times before. However, that didn’t stop it from being a well written and thought out book, even if it paled in comparison to the others in its series. New characters came, connections were made, and new plots were introduced, and all of these reminded us of the Cassandra Clare we know and love.Read more?http://thaliasbooks.tumblr.com/post/22558013830/city-of-fallen-angels-review
