I wouldn’t change a thing in this book. Finally a book in this series where you can’t really complain about anything! It kept me hanging on and I wanted to keep reading. While this might not be a book that I’d want to read over and over again, it was well done and the perfect balance between a kid’s book, but…meant for the crowd stuck between “kid” and “young adult”.This book is a perfect blend. It has very adult elements, for a series considered to be in the ‘kid’ genre. And the reader can be very surprised, because the summary on the back of the book only describes about half of what goes on in this story. You’re stuck waiting for every new chapter, wanting to know what’s going to happen, what will happen to who, how they’ll get there…and the ending, I’m sure, will probably just leave you with tears in your eyes.Read more? http://thaliasbooks.tumblr.com/post/8488633283/among-the-barons-review
