Lucky T - Kate Brian Well, as you can see from the one star rating, I didn’t like this book. At all. I liked it less than Nineteen Minutes, which I wasn’t sure was entirely possible. The writing was childish, and even though things moved much too fast and not enough development took place and the entire thing was much too sped up, by the end of the book, I still wasn’t sure when, or if, the plot ever started. I didn’t like any of the characters, which has never happened before to me when reading, I thought the plot was interesting, but the writing turned that around for me. Usually, books like this are supposed to be somewhat believable, which this book was none of. What teenage girl demands her mother let her fly to India to get back a t-shirt that was given to charity? And then yells and screams and pretty much abuses that mother when they’re totally sensible and say no? Oh, and then, of course, the mother comes back and says, “Oh honey, you were totally right; I am awful and spiteful and I decided to let you go across the world without either of your parents. Totally fine.” It’s completely unrealistic.Read more on my blog! http://thaliasbooks.tumblr.com/post/5183069596/lucky-t-review
