All Moved In

Well, I'm officially in Hawaii! I've been staying with my parents for the last few days before I got moved into the dorm, and now it's my first night in my own room! (Well, the room I will soon be sharing with a roommate who is still apparently on vacation.) And with the room comes legitimate access to the internet again, so here I am!

I have discovered that for my English class this semester, I'll have to reread Hamlet and A Doll's House--neither of which I enjoyed (AT ALL) in my AP English class in high school last year. We're also going to read Hard Times by Dickens, which I'm hoping will be far enough along in the semester that I can have my parents send me my copy from home instead of having to order it again on Amazon. (Same with Hamlet--though my copy is the teenage heartthrob version with the punk rock kid with emo hair and skinny jeans on the front holding a skull.)

Anyway, it should be a fun semester! This is one of the most diverse universities in the world and I'm super excited to experience all the culture that Hawaii and the other pacific islands (as well as Asia and parts of Europe) have to offer! I'm still reading and I'll be working on reviews again soon!
