Hush, Hush - Becca Fitzpatrick

Well, I have mixed feelings. Despite my better judgment, I ended up wondering what was going to happen and being more than a little surprised by the convoluted ending. Do I still think Nora is an idiot? Yes. Do I still think Patch is a creep? Yes. Do I still think Vee probably needs professional counseling for her serious issues with doing anything sane? Yes, I definitely do. However, while the story and characters need some serious work, you can see the faint glimmer of something that could potentially be worth reading. I was expecting beyond terrible from this book, so I'm pleasantly surprised, even if I am only giving it three stars.

Still, it could have been so much worse, and at the end of the day, despite the funny look people may give me, I can say that it was okay.
