Well, it took me roughly two and a half months, but I finally finished Vis and Ramin! Geez, if you though Romeo and Juliet were idiots, they have absolutely nothing on Vis and Ramin. They spent about a hundred pages arguing about who is more unfaithful and treacherous, while standing in the snow. The on-again, off-again relationship drove me batty, but the words were beautiful sometimes. I'd probably give it two stars because the story and characters are crap, but I did love some of the language and story telling that made it at least bearable.
Definitely one to read at least once if you're into classic literature, because this is one of the classic love stories of all time!
