Firstly, I’ll applaud Harrison for her accuracy, in part, to the original epic of Tristan. As an Arthurian fan/snob/geek, I really appreciated that. However, I wish so desperately that this book had been better than it was, considering how I adore the story of Tristan and Isolde for very much. I went into this book knowing that most people had given it low ratings, but held out hope for the few who did give it higher marks. However, the majority has been right on this book–it’s not very well-written, it’s too fast, and Tristan and Izzie’s love felt more like a subplot than anything else.Read more?http://thaliasbooks.tumblr.com/post/17051308063/tris-izzie-review
