
Firstly, I’ll applaud Harrison for her accuracy, in part, to the original epic of Tristan. As an Arthurian fan/snob/geek, I really appreciated that. However, I wish so desperately that this book had been better than it was, considering how I adore the story of Tristan and Isolde for very much. I went into this book knowing that most people had given it low ratings, but held out hope for the few who did give it higher marks.
