Crossing the Line (Pushing the Limits, #1.5)

Crossing the Line (Pushing the Limits, #1.5) - Katie McGarry So, let me just say that pen pal stories are just…they make me want to roll around and fangirl squee. I just love the whole concept of falling in love over letters like that, because they’re so personal and old-fashioned and cute. I’m pretty sure it has to be my favorite chick-lit, girly circumstance to read about. (Or…watch, for that matter–it might run in the family, considering my sister-in-law’s favorite movie is You’ve Got Mail.) So, all that, combined with the fact that Pushing the Limits has to be one of my favorite books with one of the most swoon-worthy male leads I’ve read in a long time, really pumped me up for this little novella. I don’t generally buy ebooks, because I simply don’t read them often enough–I prefer a hard copy. But this was definitely worth it. I loved Lincoln (maybe if I had read a full novel about him, I would love him as much as Noah), I liked Lila, and I thought their story was cute and fairly believable. However, it lacked the bang that Pushing the Limits had, so I just couldn’t quite call it perfect.Read more?http://thaliasbooks.tumblr.com/post/53990737832/crossing-the-line-review
