I'm Thalia! I run a book blog called Pictures in the Words and I hope to be an editor for YA fiction. I'm a GoodReads refugee!
Oh, you uh, mean that place I still live? *still kind of a kid*
Well, I guess if I had to pick a book that reminds me of "home", then I would pick Nancy Drew. When I was little, maybe five or six, my mom and I would read Nancy Drew together every night. We'd take turns reading chapters together before bed, and that's how I developed my love for reading out loud. Eventually, it turned into me just reading to her, before we both grew out of it altogether--but I still have my entire Nancy Drew collection (which is quite extensive), and when I think of home as this place that's safe and warm, Nancy Drew is the book(s) I remember. Those books give me that same feeling.
