The two of them chatted about a movie they'd been to recently, a comic book convention coming up, and other guy stuff.
THIS BOOK IS SO SEXIST, I JUST UGH.
A girl CAN'T wear makeup to school, she CAN'T wear the clothes she wants if they happen to somewhat flashy or expensive, she CAN'T do nanny thing without being labeles as selfish and shallow.
She CAN dress up and go to the Oscars to weasel money out of wealthy people.
She CAN'T participate in a conversation about, heaven forbid, an action movie or a comic book convention--girls aren't into that stuff!
CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT A GIRL IS SUPPOSED TO BE?
