I'm Thalia! I run a book blog called Pictures in the Words and I hope to be an editor for YA fiction. I'm a GoodReads refugee!
Welll...hm.
I'm not sure how to feel here.
Because I was right about my hunch.
But only two characters knew about it, and neither seemed particularly disturbed.
Or even...cared.
Uhh...
I have no idea what to rate this book. I wanted to give it two stars in the beginning because it was crappy, but then I got into a little more and decided three would probably be good, and then by the end I actually cared so much that I wanted to give it four, but I can't just discard all the crap from the beginning because the beginning was really terrible but I can't ignore how I just "feel" because that's the whole point and UGH.
At least the poem actually decided to come into play in the last seventy pages. >>
