So, yes, I really did finish this before I started my ragtag adventure through Hold Still. And...well, I cheated a little bit. I fully admit to skipping large sections of the "language" appendix. It was just so much on how certain letter combinations were supposed to be pronounced, and I was reading out loud, and it was difficult to slog through when the examples made absolutely no sense to me whatsoever, and I still pronounce things the way I think they should be pronounced, even if I'm totally wrong, so...yeah. Oops.
I did read about language in the cultures, though. I just passed over the technical stuff. I feel a little bad about that, but...not enough to go back and read it, hahah.
