I'm not really sure where this might be going. It's obvious that Aaron has paranormal abilities, but I still feel like Quinn's "demons" could also be due to a mental disorder because of all the stress she's been under and, honestly, I think a psychological plotline with a small undercurrent of paranormal (in Aaron's abilities) would be far more interesting than if demons were randomly targeting Quinn for some reason.
So, we'll see where it goes. I'm not totally sold on the writing style yet--there's a little something about it that bothers me a bit. I mean, I'm really enjoying the book, and I'm forecasting at least three stars, probably four, and I can't quite put my finger on why it's not hooking me all the way.
Also, I'm shipping it.
