I just don't understand the point. Silas himself is barely in the story, and the rest of it is random crap about Godfrey Cass and his family. And yeah, I'm kind of interested in how this secret-marriage-still-in-love-with-Nancy thing will turn out, but I just don't get why I should care, or why this is a classic.
