Well, I'm all done with Jude the Obscure. I'm not *entirely* sure how I felt. I thought it was written decently, but the lessons in the book and the characters both infuriated and annoyed me, and there really wasn't anything in the story itself that made me like it.
So...I really don't know why I didn't hate it, but I actually think I would read something by Hardy again, if given the chance. (Though my teacher totally spoiled Tess, which I had been looking forward to someday. :/ )
