Do You HAVE to Read Books You're Pre-Approved For on NetGalley?

Hey, my NetGalley-savvy friends! I have a quick question--I was recently pre-approved for two books that I, honestly, have absolutely no interest in reading. Neither of them are YA, and I'm not a big fan of adult literature (even "dystopian" adult stuff, usually), and I'm pretty sure it would end up reflecting majorly in my rating, since it's just not my genre. I didn't click through on one of them from the email I was sent, but I clicked through on the other and now it's on my dashboard.

If I don't read it, will it forever count against my percentage rating for how many reviews to how many approved ratio? (That's already happened to me once--I was "approved" for a catalogue from a publisher, and I can't exactly review that, so it'll always be an ugly black mark against me.) I don't want to read this book, but I don't know how to delete it from my dashboard. I kind of dislike that, on NetGalley, you can't ever change your mind about wanting to read something once you click "request" (or even just try to find the summary of a book you were pre-approved for). Is there any way to get out of it?

Thanks!
