I knew I shouldn't have let my friends convince me to watch the movie before I read the book. But I did. And I ordered the book afterwards (it was cheap, I promise!) because it was SUCH a great movie and I loved it. I've never read anything by Shannon Hale, even though (especially amongst Mormons) she's a really popular author. But the book and the movie are incredibly different so far in all circumstances, and ugh, now I'm in that awful dilemma where I've seen the movie first, so I feel like the movie was better in that regard, and my perception is all skewed, UGH.
On the plus side, it's really dang funny.
