Oh my goodness. Oh mY GOODNESS.
My friend, Sadie, just bought a Kindle. She was really excited about it, and I was really excited about it, and of course we decided that we needed to sit down and buddy read something together. Freebie section on Amazon, anyone?
Neither of us expected this to be good. But I don't think either of us expected it to be as laughably bad as it really is. We take turns reading it out loud, and we have voices for the different characters (but we switch off reading the main characters', Joanna and Zach's, voices). It's a weird combination of trying to be semi-erotic and also Christian fiction at the same time. We read for a really long time yesterday, and we were laughing so hard sometimes that it was actually dangerous, but it was too funny to actually stop until it was almost midnight.
I greatly look forward to reading it more. There's a chance I might give it two stars because it's so entertaining.
PS, Zach just proposed, and it's been a week since they met.
PPS, for a Christian novel, the two of them sure are naked a lot.
