I'm Thalia! I run a book blog called Pictures in the Words and I hope to be an editor for YA fiction. I'm a GoodReads refugee!
I know I could be reading this so much faster--it's not that it's boring, but it's not exactly compelling and there's just other stuff going on.
I love the journal style--I think I said that in my first update, but it still holds true. The whole Denbury/Natalie thing bothers me a little; he's completely swoon-worthy, but the instalove is a little suffocating, and it's starting to bug me how completely in love with him Natalie is; she doesn't actually know anything about him. (I said the same thing to myself when I rewatched The Little Mermaid today with the two kids I babysat. I was like, "What the heck, Ariel, I mean, Erik is great, but I can't believe you just chose to be human forever over ever seeing any of your family ever again." This book feels a little like that.)
